The Invitation

We are choosing each other for a lifetime, and as we promise our hearts to one another, we want nothing more than to be surrounded by the people who have shaped our lives.

We invite you to stand beside us as we exchange our vows and begin our forever in the old village of Dhermi, Albania. Set against dramatic turquoise waters, our celebration is designed to be an intimate gathering of the people who mean the world to us. Your presence is what will make this evening unforgettable.

Because our friends and family live across the world, this digital invitation serves as your guide fot the weekend - from travel itineraries and dress codes to the best places under the mediterranean sky.

Xhesi & Marco

The Couple

Since 2019, we have shared a life filled with endless laughter, growth, and love. From the moment of our first kiss, we both knew we had met our soulmate. Last year in Hamburg, Marco took us back to the exact street of our first kiss to ask for forever.

Bridging our worlds and celebrating our roots has always been at the heart of our journey. From celebrating our engagement in Ecuador to saying “I do” on the Albanian Riviera, this celebration of love is our greatest trip. Years ago, during our visit to Dhermi, we envisioned it all:

“Imagine getting married here.”

Years later, that dream becomes our promise.

The Drescode

Forever starts in style... We want to celebrate with you in the most glamorous way possible. Our dress code is Black Tie—elevated, sophisticated, and perfectly suited for warm Mediterranean nights. We invite our guests to join us in their finest evening gowns, lightweight black-tie attire, or elegant tuxedos.

A gentle note on colors: We kindly ask that our guests avoid light bridal tones, including white, ivory, ecru, and champagne, as these shades are reserved for the couple.

To spark some inspiration and help guide your style, we have created a Pinterest mood board.

The Venue

Located purposefully in the heart of Dhërmi’s mountains, Zoe Hora, a private luxury hotel in Dhërmi, offers a hidden heritage escape for those seeking a captivating coastal destination. This charming resort setting reveals a deep connection to its architectural roots and stunning panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, inviting guests to explore stone pathways and historic sites molded over the years.

The Spirit of Dhërmi

Dhërmi is a village shaped by faith, landscape, and time. Often noted for its remarkable number of churches, it is home to 46 sacred sites quietly woven into everyday life. Set between the Ionian Sea and the surrounding mountains, the village carries a natural balance that gives the place a calm, grounding energy felt from the moment you arrive. Today, around 80 families live here year-round, closely connected to the land through olive groves, citrus orchards, and fruit trees that extend beyond the coastline. Dhërmi offers a rare continuity where nature, heritage, and daily life remain deeply intertwined.

The Journey to Dhermi

Arriving in Albania is straightforward, with flights from Germany taking around 2.5 to 3.5 hours into Tirana International Airport, which is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours from Dhërmi. Getting to Dhërmi is easiest with a rental car for maximum flexibility, but there will also be a direct shuttle transportation option from the airport to the hotel offered by Zoe Hora Hotel. If you are interested in this service, please contact the groom.

Good to know: the local currency is the Albanian lek (LEK), cards are widely accepted, and carrying some cash is always handy for smaller local spots.
